Perhaps the easiest members of the wedding party to dress are the youngest, the ring bearer and/or flower girl. Fit is not usually a big problem nor are strong opinions (in most cases!). As with the attire for the rest of the wedding party, you have great latitude with these little ones. The traditional white dresses and/or suits are certainly appropriate, as are outfits that complement the wedding party in both style and color. A flowered dress for a little girl and/or a blazer and shorts or pants for a little boy, for example, can be both adorable and appropriate. The only real rule of thumb in choosing outfits is to choose something appropriate for the age of the child--no strapless or backless dresses for little girls, for example. It would also behoove you to choose something that the child likes and that will be comfortable for him or her.
