Reception Cards...Or, Where's the Party?

The reception card is used when the wedding and reception are held at different locations. The reception card mirrors the wedding invitation in style and formality. Traditionally, the first line denotes the occasion (e.g. breakfast, dinner, etc.). The second line indicates the time (or "immediately following" (the ceremony), if that is the case). The third line designates the reception location. The site address is on the fourth line and the city and state on the fifth and sixth lines, respectively. If a reply card is not included, an RSVP, followed by the address to which it should be sent, is included in smaller print in the lower left corner of the reception card.
