First, I want to say
Congratulations!
Second,
Don't Panic!
Whether you have eighteen months or eighteen days to prepare, the success of your wedding will not be determined by the color of the bridesmaids' dresses or the selection of the centerpiece. It will be determined solely by your marriage with the one you love. As long as at the end of the day, the two of you are joined in marriage, your wedding day will have been a success--no matter the cake, the flowers, or how your relatives got along.
Whatever type of wedding you are planning, large or small, elaborate or simple, we have designed this planning guide to help you. You will find practical advice on how to prepare your guest list, select a reception hall, or find a caterer. For those of you on tight budgets, you will find some ways to save money. In addition, I have included some suggestions for inexpensive "added touches" that might serve to make your event a little more memorable or enjoyable.
Please let this be my first word of practical advice: Do not let any magazine, book, or even computer program tell you that you must have or do this or that at your wedding. Focus on the marrying more than the wedding, be considerate of your attendants and guests, and the rest will take care of itself.
